Grinders
CBI manufactures both “Upswing” and “Downswing” style machines. Upswing machines are generally higher speed for cleaner material with premium throughput. Downswing machines are generally lower speed with the ability to process a more contaminated waste stream and have the flexibility to accept multiple rotor options.
CBI Grizzly mill

5800 Truck mounted grinder
A completely new concept – truck mounted ABAB 5800 grinder – powered from the trucks diesel engine. Within 5 minutes you have started your production at the work site.
This is the flexible, quick and easy to move, one man operated grinder solution for small and medium sized jobs. Grinding both clean and contaminated materials such as logging residue, logs, stumps, recycling wood and green waste.
The grinder is operated by one man and has a radial stacking discharge conveyor, turning 110 degrees, with a high discharge height of 5 meters to allow direct loading of containers or truck trailers. With ReCoDrive (optional) the truck can be moved by remote control from the crane cabin for higher efficiency and less time moving between crane and truck cabin.
CBI Magnum Force 5400T

CBI Magnum Force 5400 is the latest offering in the new generation of grinders, where the owners can select from five different swappable rotors to accommodate changing materials and processing demands. Magnum Force 5400 is designed according the same robust principles as the larger 6400 but only weighs 30 ton and 2,5 meters wide.
The infeed system has a built in pre screening that allows contaminations such as dirt and gravel to fall through the infeed back to the ground. This gives you less wear on strikers and knifes and also a higher quality biomass fuel with less ash contents.
CBI ChipMax 484

Enlarge pictureCompact yet enormously productive, the ChipMax 484 is an extreme-duty biomass production workhorse. Its main components such as the rotor, chipper box and feed system are significantly stronger than any other chipper in its class, providing owners with years of trouble free service. Featuring two rotor options, the ChipMax can make high-quality fuel chips custom sized from 12–25 mm or “micro-chips” from 2–12 mm from logs up to 24" in diameter. These “micro-chips” produce a consistent fiber length that dramatically reduces the overall cost of producing pellets as well as improves the function of small boilers.
